Evacuating New Orleans

This weekend I will prepare to evacuate New Orleans.

I am still working on various technical aspects of this web site in between composing the posts that I've started here. There are many more in the wings, so to speak, and I have no doubt that there are many more beyond that.

As evacuation may cause a delay in posting new material, I thought I would fill in some gaps about where this project is headed. It started out as a way to let people know that the new electronic edition of A Course In Miracles was available as The Miracles Journal, A Course In Miracles Notebook. It immediately became more than that. So, before heading into the unknown wifi access of evacuation and unknown destination, I added information to the contact page (click, lower right) and the about page (click, upper left).

The Miracles Journal Project

The primary focus for The Miracles Journal Project is to lower barriers to understanding A Course In Miracles by

• Correct the punctuation in the Text! This is done, for now, and it was something I wanted to do from the very first time I read A Course In Miracles.
• Be a bridge between A Course In Miracles and other religions and beliefs.
• Fill a gap between the celebrity teachers and practical understanding of A Course In Miracles.
• Speak where invited and be available for one on one counseling.

For anyone who might be very new to A Course In Miracles, I'd like to recommend the early books by Dr. Jerry Jampolsky, Love is Letting Go of Fear and Out of Darkness into the Light: A Journey of Inner Healing. These are the classics about the Course, pure and simple.
