Giving and Receiving

When I started this web site, I wasn't planning on trying to make an income with it. I had some time, and felt an inner direction to do it.

I was in New Orleans. Everything is seasonal in New Orleans and in a couple of months I'd be back to work at a job. Then Hurricane Gustav headed around the Gulf and there was a mandatory evacuation. People who, just days before, were not going to leave, were packing or had packed and left. I did the same. It was the end of the month. Going back didn't make sense. I ended up in a rural area. I did what I could everyday with the web site. I could do more with different arrangements, but we have come this far and all is well.

There are a few items for sale in the "store". You can always buy me a cup of coffee, if you don't see something you need at the store. It will be very much appreciated!

This was updated January, 2010. I eliminated the affiliate links that I tried in the early days of the web site, along with the explanations about them. I do still have an Amazon account.
