The Miracles Journal

The idea behind making The Miracles Journal was make A Course in Miracles available, readable, and understandable to more people. Toward that effort was the idea to make clean digital editions of the Course. Spelling and punctuation have been corrected throughout.

I started making the first one with the intention of simply making it easier for myself to use and read, to find passages quickly, and later, to put sections on an iPod to be able to read anywhere. Then I had the idea of making that edition available online. That first one was in a format available only on a Mac.

Then someone told me they did not have the Course and were hesitating in purchasing the hard copy. I didn't think it would happen, but I then made an identical edition available in Word, in .doc format.

So, read on. The next page contains the edition note that I've included in the documents. There are pages on how to use Notebook and put pages from the Course on your iPod. The two editions have different features which are inherent in the software that opens the files. Notebook gives you book-like pages and several powerful indices. Both editions give you easy to use find features. Both editions can be written to with your own comments, hence the title, The Miracles Journal.

A Course In Miracles was recorded or "scribed," as the process has often been referred to, in the 1960's and 1970's. It was first published in the mid-1970's.
