Nascent Constellation, a short story collection, stories of kindness and grace. This is the collection of stories I've read at open mics.
My People, a short play based on a conversation between a former gang member and an artist. Humorous and poignant. I'll even include plans to make a simple set for the play (this is new) from inexpensive, easy to obtain materials, if you ask.

My People
My People is a very short play. But, when I read it to small groups, it was always a hit. Funny and poignant, it was selected by DramaRama in New Orleans for production in the spring of 2008.
Nascent Constellation
Nascent Constellation is a collection of short stories - a trilogy plus one. It started as a trilogy, but I always added one more story, a bonus, at the end. It has changed with each printing, but this time it's a partial chapter from the novel in progress. They are funny and personal, fictional and based on real life events. They have been read to audiences from Massachusetts to Florida, North Carolina to Tennessee and Louisiana.
