Perfect Health Part II

Perfect Health Part II

This is a follow up article to Perfect Health Part I .

Many people thought that Perfect Health Part I was going to be a formula, a prescription, or the ever popular list of steps to take to attain Perfect Health. Perfect heath cannot be contained in a capsule, it cannot be freeze-dried, or made in a blender. Perfect Health Part I was an allegory. The story was about young man who had made a promise to himself and what happened when he came face to face with the question of whether or not he would keep that promise. Without really knowing it, he had made the promise to an Inner Guide or Spirit Guide, or as we might call it in A Course in Miracles, our Holy Self.

The turning point from pain to healing began with a decision, a decision to keep the promise. The healing path opened with that decision. It was a decision to not continue the hurt. It was a decision of faith as well because the young man did not know what would become materially from the decision. The decision also contained the seed of forgiveness because there was a world of other reactions that could have taken its place.

What heals? And what is Perfect Health? Perfect health is in motion. Healing is a decision. We begin there.

Workbook of One Mind

What Inspires a Radical Collaboration?

Gratitude

Our gratitude permits our love to be accepted without fear. And thus are we restored to our Reality at last. All that intruded on our holy sight forgiveness takes away. And we draw near the end of senseless journeys, mad careers, and artificial values. We accept instead what God established as ours; sure that, in that alone, we are saved; sure that we go through fear to meet Love.
