This is the Father's Day Edition of the podcast and a tribute to Bill Thetford.
It was, after all, Bill's declaration that "there must be a better way" that was the seed-thought and spark which found purchase in Helen who, in a rare moment, was receptive, and responded, "I agree and I'll help you find it." Together they nurtured what some have called one of the greatest literary works of the twentieth century.
Jesus taught us not to be so much concerned about what we put into our mouths as to what we let come out of it. So, it's not what we eat, but our thoughts and how we relate to others that witnesses to our spiritual progress. What is important is the opportunity we have each moment to choose between expressing fear or love in out lives.

Over the next several episodes of the podcast there will be a series of readings from a Hindu Veda. This will be partly as a tribute to Bill, but also to demonstrate the universality of the Course and spirituality in general. I'll explain how this relates to A Course in Miracles during those podcasts.

This is one of those very special announcements. This is about Louise Hay's new book, Experience Your Good Now!
I do not promote such things lightly. I met Louise Hay years ago. I love this lady. She is warm, true, and real. Louise is 84 years old. She is not doing this for the money. She is doing this to help people. She is, however, sharing a lot of what she receives.
A Course in Miracles is full of affirmations, but this may not be so easy for many to understand. The consciousness movement is real, but there is much confusion in new thought spirituality realms today, ie. "Law of Attraction" and The Secret, and similar concepts. Louse Hay has written the book that will help humankind to understand their thoughts, and use affirmations.

Perhaps one could open A Course In Miracles, Text or Workbook, digital file or printed book, at any page and within a few minutes find a passage suitable for offering grace or prayer before a meal with a gathering of friends. The Miracles Journal Project came from the idea to post the digital file of A Course In Miracles which I called The Miracles Journal.
That idea became this web site, an ongoing blog, a compendium of new and found information about A Course In Miracles.
The primary focus for The Miracles Journal Project is to lower barriers to understanding A Course In Miracles by
- Continuing this web site.
- Correcting the punctuation in the Text! This is done, for now, and it was something I wanted to do from the very first time I read A Course In Miracles, but was necessary in converting the available online text which I imagine was scanned, then translated into text via an optical character reader.
- Be a bridge between A Course In Miracles and other religions and beliefs.
- Fill a gap between various teachers and practical understanding of A Course In Miracles.
- Maintaining that there is a teaching syle, level, and teacher for anyone interested, a "something for everyone" attitude about the Course.
- Speak where invited and be available for one on one counseling.
